Seminars

Mindset Matters: Building You, Your Brand, & Your Business is the morning seminar on Friday, June 14. The future of the sign industry is shining brighter than ever, reflecting the brilliance of those who lead it and the exceptional work they produce.

With a world of opportunities at our fingertips, the question arises: How can we elevate our chances of success to the fullest?

It all starts with our mindset. Crafting a resilient mindset takes dedication, effort, and focus – but the rewards are immeasurable.

Join us for an enlightening session where Terry Bean will share invaluable insights and practical strategies to transform your mindset and supercharge your success – for yourself, your teams, your brand, and your business.

Here’s what you can expect to gain:

Reduce Stress, Anxiety, and Burnout – Discover powerful mindset techniques to prioritize what truly matters. Terry will reveal the wisdom on controlling the controllable, maintaining equanimity during highs and lows, and harnessing stress as a catalyst for growth.

Build Your Brand – Unlock strategies for networking and leveraging social media to expand your reach, engage your audience, and enhance your credibility. These actionable tips can seamlessly integrate into your daily routine for immediate impact.

Position Your Company for Future Success – Learn from someone who has been there and glean insights on collaboration, mentorship, and strategic partnerships. Terry will guide you through real-time application of networking principles, paving the way for exponential growth in the next decade.

And as the Friday luncheon concludes we will hear the second seminar from popular MSA panelist and economic commentator Philipp Jonas, Chair of the Economics Department at Kalamazoo Valley Community College, Kalamazoo, Mich. His topic: Feelings Are Not Facts: Understanding Current Economic Conditions.

Everyone has an opinion on the economy. And algorithms show us what engages, not what informs. In this session you will learn an easy-to-understand toolkit in order to base your assessment of current economic conditions on facts.

How is overall economic activity? Where have the workers gone? Are wages and prices normalizing? Philipp will share his opinions on what economics can tell you about current conditions. And sometimes more importantly, what economics doesn’t know.

Ask what you need answered for your business, be prepared for a dialogue, and plenty of audience participation. Don’t hesitate to put Philipp on the hot seat. As always, Philipp is also here to answer your questions.

The Tom Fazio-designed course features "large undulating greens that support a variety of pin placements to satisfy the most demanding playing conditions. Strategically placed sand bunkers dot the fairways and guard against errant approach shots onto the green. Frequent Lake Erie breezes add to the challenge of having water hazards come into play on 14 separate holes.”  The scramble includes lunch and prizes.
